SERIES FINALE
EPISODE 6 ~ SODOM & GOMORRAH ~ NOW AVAILABLE

Laughing Monkey's brand new audio sitcom is now available to listen on this website - we've just uploaded the last episode and it's a good 'un so check it out ;-).

NEWS

The Laughing Monkey website will be moving to a new home from Saturday March 15th 2008. To mark the occasion, we're broadcasting the whole of Biblical Times again at our new site from that date. You can find the new site at www.laughing-monkey.com . For more information, check out the COMING SOON page.

With our last show, the fairytale/gangster comedy, Happy Ever After, a recent success at the Norwich Puppet Theatre and our next show, a production of Alan Bennett's farce, Habeas Corpus, due there in the next few weeks, the Laughing Monkey Theatre Company are stumbiling quickly and boisterously in to their plans for 2008.

We are a small band of happy players hailing from deepest darkest Norwich in Norfolk, England. We are still rehearsing in a spacious (but unheated!) garage, close to the city centre and our resources are still as limited as ever, but our original aim - to enjoy what is essentially our hobby and not to take it all too seriously - remains the same.

Our audio sitcom, Biblical Times, is now available on the site. We'll be broadcasting the six episodes here weekly, so do have a listen. You can find the latest episode and details on the
BIBLICAL TIMES page.

We're also gearing up for our third stage production, Alan Bennett's farce Habeas Corpus which comes to the Norwich Puppet Theatre in March. Rehearsals start in January with most of the Company having crossed over from Happy Ever After, and we're gearing up to drop our trousers, vent our sexual frustrations and strap on our false bosoms ... such is the nature of farce ... apparently. We've unfortunately lost a couple of top ladies who have business other than monkey to concentrate on ... though we hope they'll be back very soon ;-). For more information, check out the
HABEAS CORPUS page.

Also on this website, you can check out our previous stage and audio productions, who we are and what we've been in before, find out our latest progress on our weekly (and sometimes twice/thrice weekly) blogs - you can even leave us a message on our very own Guessbook. If you want to come and see any of our shows or even if you want to have a go at this acting-theatry-type-thing yourself, you can find our details on the
CONTACT page.
