The Monkeys rounded off a pretty tip-top first year with this full-length comedy written by our very own Director and favourite cockney impersonator, Jim Blythe. A spoof hybrid of gangster films and fairytales, Happy Ever After was performed over two nights at The Norwich Puppet Theatre and was an even greater success then our first production. Click the title link to find out more. Thanks and kudos to everyone who came along and had a good laugh -- we hope you enjoyed it as much as we did ;-).
Special thanks must again go to Ian, Darren and all the good folks at the Puppet Theatre -- you made us very welcome and we look forward to seeing you again in March. Special thanks also to Heather for putting up with us in her garage, Rackheath Players for their great support, and the loan of costums and props, Maggie Bunkell, also for the loan of costumes -- and of course Sally and Mel who stepped into their parts at very short notice and were fabulous -- you did us proud ;-).
If you missed out on the stage production, the AUDIO PLAY of Happy Ever After is available now.
The nice tidy profit we made from this production is going straight into our next show, Alan Bennet's Habeas Corpus which you can catch at the Puppet Theatre in March 2008 -- we look forward to seeing you there ;-).
